During our community consultations several people asked if some of the trees had to be removed. The answer was yes as they are located where the library will be created. After consultation with sawmill operators, it was determined that some of the trees were not suitable for reuse as they have many knots and the particular sap creates issues. However, Architect Dale Archibald found a use for the two hardwood trees. They will stripped and varnished and included in the children’s area design.
