Work installing Geopiers has moved to the “West Side” of the project. The West Side is a new addition to the existing building that includes stage storage, extra behind the scenes space for performers, a staff room, and an arts and culture programming space. The stage storage will allow for larger and more complex theatre performances requiring scene changes. The arts and culture programming space will create an exciting new component that can open up onto the front patio. Arts workshops, classes, and activities such as fix-it sessions and tool sharing workshops will be held here. We will be working with Creative Pictou County on this initiative.
