A Cultural Hub For Pictou County

Public Art

Showcasing our Community Public Art

Public art is an important part of this project, and not just for beautification purposes. Featuring public art in community gathering spaces demonstrates the importance a community places upon arts & culture. Public art can serve to express the hopes and aspirations of our diverse communities-- including marginalized communities-- while creating unique and interesting facilities for residents and visitors alike. Investing in public art showcases and supports local artists and artisans, putting dollars directly into the local creative economy.
